Join Us in Pittsburgh!
While we’re going to keep you busy at our 2017 National Conference and Exhibition: Building Bridges to the Future – with three plenary sessions, 45 concurrent sessions, an exhibit hall jam-packed with industry partners and solutions, two housing and community development study tours, a special Ethics for Commissioners course offering and more – we hope you’ll find some time to enjoy the vibrant and walkable city we’ll be visiting from Oct. 27-29! Fall is the perfect time to be in Pittsburgh, which Harper’s Bazaar named its #4 Best Place to Travel in 2017. The New York Times loves it there too, as you can tell from the series of articles profiling Pittsburgh’s burgeoning food, arts and technology scenes.
The David Lawrence Convention Center, where we’ll be holding the conference, is by the Allegheny River and near a vibrant downtown area filled with restaurants, shopping and attractions such as the Andy Warhol Museum, the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum and the ToonSeum. More information about Pittsburgh is available at the Visitors Center. With outstanding attractions, award-winning restaurants, world-class accommodations and, to add, the friendly people, affordability and walkability, it’s the perfect recipe for a memorable conference experience.
