Chris Pegg is stepping down as CEO of Longview’s affordable housing agency after two decades at the helm, a period that has seen a dramatic expansion of low-income housing and won awards for assisting veterans.

Under Pegg’s leadership, the agency created or purchased about 300 units for affordable housing and another 150 units are on the way. It serves about 1,500 families in Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Lewis and Pacific counties. The agency has grown from five employees to almost 50.
